Athens, June 10th (Tanjug) - Yugoslav music band "Zabranjeno pusenje" had last night in Athens a concert, titled "Collateral damage". This concert was organized by one of the most important Greek journals, "Elefterotypia" and the Balkans Film Chamber, and all its income is destined to the war casualties in Yugoslavia.

The concert in Athens was, in fact, the first in the line of European concerts of the band "Zabranjeno pusenje", who was supported, for this occasions, with the bassist - famous film director Emir Kusturica.

In front of the public composed of more than 2000 people, in the representative space of the open Theatre Lykavitos, the frontman of "Zabranjeno pusenje" Dr Nele Karajlic, communicating mostly in English, has succeeded to install an atmosphere, characteristic for this band's performances.

Warmly greeted after each song, the members of "Zabranjeno pusenje" in a changed, European edition, presented to the public in Athens their charts from the previous albums, and at the final part of the concert, the material from their last CD, as well as the music from Kusturica's "Black cat, white cat" movie.

After the concert in Athens, and before the departure on the Italian tour, Emir Kusturica gave his commentary on the news on attending of peace in Yugoslavia and the cessation of bombing:

"I'm happy because the peace is installed again. This was no war because 'Serbs started killing Albanians', as it was defined in the western media, but because there was a signature missing on some papers. It was actually a matter of higher direction, and, as a director, I am a little versed in it."

"The most important thing now is that the whole Kosovo problem went back under the guidance of the people's community - the United Nations. Bombs will stop falling, people will be relieved, and that's most important", concluded Kusturica.
