"Generous" aid to Macedonia

Stating this fact, Skopje's newspaper "Vecer" notices that here only drinking water is abundant and that NATO did not have to transport it by aircrafts to Macedonia.

We must admit that NATO soldiers, situated in Macedonia, during their breaks, taking rest from the practical support to the killing aggression to Yugoslavia, helped with making tents for the refugees.

Macedonians were disappointed with the received humanitarian aid from friendly Taiwan, saying that the aircraft crew was heavier than parcels intended to refugees.

Out of the announced dispatch, which had to be in the value of 5 million dollars, the goods in the value of US$ 300,000 came from Taiwan together with 90 member delegation.

Neither smaller dispatch nor bigger suite - Macedonians wanders. Even the friend of Taiwan Vasil Tupurkovski, who met them with open hands at the Skopje airport Petrovec, was a little bit ashamed.

Other European countries have not sent to Macedonia even water, but they "promise" that the refugees will stay in its territory.
