PRISTINA, September 13 (Beta) - Head of UNMIK Hans Haekkerup and KFOR commander, general Thorstein Skiaker held talks with Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Nebojsa Covic in Pristina on Thursday on the problems related to Serb participation in the November elections and Kosovska Mitrovica, a divided town in the north of Kosovo.

The UNMIK head and KFOR commander welcomed recent progress in the registration of Kosovo Serbs and invited them to continue registering until the September 22 deadline.

Haekkerup and Skiaker urged Serbian parties and coalitions to apply for the election rolls before September 17 and asked Covic to coommunicate the message to all interested parties.
