YUGOSLAVIA - Hungary 3-1

Ostrava, CZECH REPUBLIC, September 10 - The best volleyball players of Yugoslavia scored at the European Championship in the Czech town of Ostrava their third victory in a row, after beating Monday evening in a match of the third round B group the national team of Hungary 3-1 (27-29, 25-16, 25-17, 25-19).

On Wednesday, September 12, Yugoslavs will play the national team of Italy.

After the match

"We played equal match against Olympic winner. I am satisfied with the result, it is reality between these two teams. After the match in the dressing room we were not upset of the match's result" (Gyorgy Demeter, head coach of Hungary).

"We could win also the first set of this match, but referee did not decide even one of three controversial balls for us. While running the next sets we were obviously better. We want to win our group. In the next matches we must be successful too" (Nikola Grbic, Yugoslavia's captain).
