Ministers Batic and Kosmo sign a Memorandum on Cooperation
Belgrade, August 31 - Serbian Minister of Justice and Local Self-Government Vladan Batic and Norwegian Minister of Labour and Public Administration Jorgen Kosmo signed in Oslo on Friday a Memorandum on cooperation between the two governments that would provide Norwegian financial aid for Serbia's public administration reform.

The Norwegian government will support projects for rebuilding the technical and information capacities of Serbia's public administration, training public servants, and a series of other projects aimed at creating a more efficient and economical administration.

The Serbian government Agency for Public Administration Development will be in charge of project implementation.

Minister Batic also met Norwegian Ombudsman Arne Fliflet and discussed the possibility of establishing an ombudsman institution in Serbia.
