Pristina, August 30 (Tanjug - agencies) - The bullet-riddled body of Serb national Stanojko Stankovic (53) was found near the village of Vrbestice in the Serb enclave of Strpci on Wednesday, UNMIK spokesman Andrea Angelli told AFP.

Stankovic was last seen on August 22, when he set off to pick fruit, and has since been registered as missing. His body was found near a forest outside the Serb-populated area on Wednesday.

Angelli said Stankovic received five bullets wounds to the head and another five in the chest.

Asked whether there was an ethnic motive behind the incident, the UNMIK spokesman said: "Anything is possible", adding he could not confirm anything yet.
