Belgrade, August 3, 2001 - Serbian government appointed twelve and relieved from duty seven deans at the University of Pristina, it is announced in the latest issue of "The Official Herald".

The government appointed Professor Milovan Knezevic new dean of Medical faculty, Slobodan Barac dean of the Faculty of law, Cemal Dolicanin dean of Electrical engineering faculty and Professor Dragan Popovic dean of the Faculty of physical education.

Professor Dragisa Velickovic is the new dean of the Faculty of economics, Zoran Pavlovic dean of the Faculty of Philology, Branislav Milutinovic dean at the Faculty of Philosophy, and Professor Mirko Radulovic the new dean of the Faculty of civil engineering and architecture.

Dean of Mechanical engineering faculty is Prof. Vladimir Raicevic, whereas Prof. Novica Stolic is appointed new dean of Agricultural faculty. Prof. Katica Kosanovic became dean of the Faculty of science and mathematics, and dean of Faculty of arts is Tomislav Triftic, MA.

The government also appointed Professor Ratomir Dzodic dean of Faculty of mining in Kosovska Mitrovica and Professor Radivoje Kulic dean of Teacher-training faculty.

Serbian government appointed Gojko Savic rector of Pristina University on July 20, who is full professor at the Faculty of science and mathematics, Department for biology, which is temporarily located in Krusevac.
