Belgrade, July 25- As part of his official visit to the USA, the Justice and Local Self-Government Minister, Vladan Batic, was received on Tuesday July 24 in the State Department and the US Department of Justice. Batic and the US officials discussed the Serbian judiciary reform.

He acquainted his interlocutors with the judiciary reform strategy, adopted at the donors' conference, stressing the urgency of its realisation and the fulfilling of the obligations taken on by the donors, says the statement from the Justice and Local Self-Government.

During his visit to Washington, D.C., Batic also met the representatives of the Committee on National Security, the Agency for International Development and the Cato Institute. He attended the dedication of the FRY Embassy in Washington, D.C. as well.
