Novi Sad, July 6, 2001 (Beta) - "Exit Noise Summer Fest 2001", the nine-day international music festival, at which more than one hundred Yugoslav and international performers will take part till July 14, followed by theatre, film and academic programmes, was opened in Novi Sad on July 6.

The festival was opened by the President of the Assembly of Vojvodina Nenad Canak and the mayor of Novi Sad Borislav Novakovic.

After the opening ceremony, Belgrade "Zvezdara Theare" performed "The Bug" on the scene of the Petrovaradin fortress.

"Exit Noise Summer Fest 2001" was organised by the organisation "Exit" from Novi Sad and "Group 17 plus".
