However, since this was a donors' conference for this year (2001), and the month is now July, a part of the money has already been or is being used for the realization of a number of projects. The exact amount of the sum spent will be known after a detailed comparative analysis of the data received before the Brussels conference by the Ministry of International Economic Relations' Department for Aid Coordination and Development, with those released by the World Bank and the European Union at the very conference.

One way or the other, by the end of 2001, the remaining $1,2 billion will be used for future projects initiated by the donors themselves or the governments of Serbia and Montenegro.

The Serbian government had submitted a list of priority projects, which was presented at the donors' conference. When, and in which way, those projects will be carried out will depend on the future cooperation of the Serbian government with donors.

More detailed, but still preliminary data concerning the future projects, such as the amount the donors will invest in the projects, will be known in about two weeks. All the data will be liable to change, but will be available in the media at all times, as well as on the site of the Ministry of International Economic Relations www.mier.sr.gov.yu.
