BELGRADE, July 1 (Beta) - District Attorney Rade Terzic has stated that the investigation against Slobodan Milosevic and his close party colleagues Mihalj Kertes, Nikola Sainovic and Jovan Zebic will be continued. Witnesses will be heard and the defendants re-questioned.

"We don't know how long Milosevic will remain in The Hague, but that doesn't mean that we will stop the procedure. That is only possible if Milosevic is out of reach of our judiciary after the investigation has finished," Terzic has said.

He added that he had been handed over a report by the federal auditor and that the investigating Judge Goran Cavlina will re-question Kertes, Sainovic and Zebic.

According to the report, the sum for which Milosevic and his colleagues were suspected of embezzling had increased, and the money had also been misused in the same way.
