The World Bank vice-chairman Johannes Linn said the bank was ready to pledge $580 million. Day stressed that the EU would set aside $230 million for the construction and recovery of Yugoslavia's infrastructure and an additional $300 million for the implementation of macroeconomic reform and the filling of the budget gap.
