Brussels, June 28 (Tanjug) - The donors' conference for Yugoslavia has been well organized and I hope we will accomplish our objective to raise $1.25 million, Yugoslav Prime Minister Miroljub Labus told Tanjug news agency and Radio Television Serbia in Brussels on Thursday.

Labus's optimism is based on several facts. "It is important that all those who announced their participation will attend the donors' conference on Friday", Labus said. "This means that their participation in the conference will confirm their support to our economic reforms and our diplomacy", the Yugoslav Prime Minister added.

According to Labus, the representatives of the World Bank and the European Commission said they were impressed by the momentum of our economic reforms and by what we had done so far. At the same time, the officials warned that it would take us a lot of time and effort to carry out economic and political recovery of the country, Yugoslav Prime Minister Miroljub Labus stressed.

Labus said that Washington's decision to attend the donors' conference was a positive signal and encouragement for other donors, especially the ones whose participation in the conference was not certain until the last moment.
