List of 46 transport projects

Belgrade, June 27 2001 (Tanjug) - The Serbian Ministry of Transport and telecommunications has drawn up 46 projects for the revitalisation of the transport infrastructure and the car pool, of which 20 projects bear upon road traffic and 26 on railway traffic, reports Tanjug today.

The list of short-term road traffic projects, to be presented at the Donors' Conference in Brussels in June 29, includes repairs of the road sections E-80 Komren-Prosek , Beograd-Ostruznica and of the motorway Beograd-Nis, the construction of ring roads in Belgrade, Subotica and Krusevac, of the bridge over land-slide site at Bracino, of the main road E-75 Beograd-Novi Sad, of the southern ring road in Kragujevac, of the Mladost Bridge in Nis and at Ovcar Banja together with tunnel digging, the reconstruction of the motorways Botanic-Kragujevac, Lazarevac-Arandjelovac, Krusevac-Kraljevo, of the ascent at Cestobrodica, Adrani-Kraljevo, Zlatibor-Kokin Brod, Ljig-Rudnik and Mladenovac- Smaderevska Palanka.

The preliminary calculation of the project cost amounts to 23.8 milliard dinars.
