London, May 14 (Tanjug) - Academic choir Collegium Musicum, conducted by Darinka Matic-Marovic, succeeded in what only remarkable ones can - instead of one planned concert, they held two concerts in London these days. The choir received tremendous ovation and thunderous applause.

The first charitable concert took place in the London Saint Cyprian Church on May 8 under the patronage of Princess Katarina Karadjordjevic. It was attended by Prince Aleksandar Karadjordjevic, Princess Katarina, Yugoslav Ambassador to the UK, Vladeta Jankovic, representatives of our church, and many other eminent guests from British artistic circles and diaspora.

On the initiative of eminent officials of the British music scene, Collegium Musicum held another concert at the London Guildhall. The concert was attended by exclusively British audience - eminent artists, the principle, professors, and students of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Apart from Serbian spiritual and contemporary music, Collegium Musicum performed the compositions of Benjamin Britten.

The choir was accompanied by soloists Svetlana Bojcevic-Cicovic (soprano), Radivoje Simic (tenor), Vladimir Andric (baritone) and Sladjana Gajic (piano).
