HUNDRED DAYS OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA GOVERNMENT

WE PROMISED...

An honest State

  • In contrast to the former, this government does not steal
  • In contrast to its predecessors this government does not give out flats, export licences and does not grant privileges to its ministers
  • This government shall not have financial affairs
  • This government shall dismiss each its officer who transgresses law, regardless of his office and duty
  • This government shall manage state property honestly, justly, and in the interests of the citizens

A legal State

  • Fight against corruption
  • Reform of judiciary bodies
  • Reform of crime legislation
  • Reform of Public and state security services
  • Establishment of a Parliamentary commission that shall investigate work of the State security service
  • Institution of Ombudsman
  • Establishment of a Public control agency
  • Reform of public administration
  • Reform of public finances in order to shut out further malversation
  • Tax reform that shall introduce transparency and more justice
  • Denationalisation
  • Determination and disbursement of State's debts to citizens
  • Settlement of inter-company claims and debts
  • Rehabilitation of the banking system
  • Regulation of illegal construction
  • Suspension of inadequate privatisation model which privileged a narrow layer of the population, examination of formerly carried out privatisation and passing of a new law on privatisation
  • Investigation of financial abuses committed over the past ten years under former authorities, and passing a law under which abusers shall be imposed a tax on extra profit

An efficient State

  • Agriculture revitalisation
  • Social welfare programs for the poorest
  • State decentralisation, Serbia's regionalization and expansion of local self-government

A modern state

  • Abolishment of the Law on the universities and university autonomy
  • Abolishment of the Law on public information and guaranteeing freedom of the press
  • Recompensation to penalised media
  • Law on elementary and secondary education
  • Passing of "labour laws"

A recognised State

  • Make Serbia and FRY part of civilised world again
