Exhibition of Easter eggs in the Serbian Orthodox Church Museum

Belgrade, April 12 (Serbian Orthodox Church Information Service) - On the occasion of Easter holidays, the Serbian Orthodox Church Museum in Belgrade staged an exhibition of Easter eggs decorated by icon-painter Aleksandar Todorovic, an academic painter from Arilje. The exhibited collection includes some 50 Easter eggs decorated with the images of Christian saints, vegetal ornaments and geometrical forms.

Aleksandar Todorovic is a painter and a conservator, a master of miniature and traditional painting technique. He staged three individual and twelve group exhibitions up to the present. This collection was made during 1995/96.

The exhibition of Easter eggs in the Serbian Orthodox Church Museum in Belgrade will be closed on Ascension Day (May 24).
