Djapic and Radomirovic Balkan champions

Athens, GREECE, February 18th - At the 8th Balkan Indoor Athletic Championship, Yugoslavia won ten medals - two gold, one silver and seven bronze ones. In addition to this, Yugoslav athletes have improved one national and nine personal records.

Out of the Yugoslav team, new champions of the Balkans are Vukosava Djapic and Darko Radomirovic.

Djapic won the women's 60 meters race with new Yugoslav record - 7.36.

Darko Radomirovic won the second gold medal for the Yugoslavs in the men's 1.500 meters race with 3:47.54, his personal best result.

Male national team shared the second place with Romania, while female national team won the fourth place.
