Calcutta, January 23 - Having defeated Japan 1-0 (1-0) in today's semi-final match in Calcutta, the Yugoslav national football team qualified for the Millennium Cup finals in India.

The only scorer for Yugoslavia in the fifth minute of the match was the Belgrade Partizan player Igor Duljaj.

In the final, Yugoslavia plays Bosnia-Herzegovina which defeated Chile 1-0 in the other semi-final.
