Jadran were better in the first and third quarters, but the reigning European champions, thanks to greater experience and excellent Sapic (six goals), in the end managed to break the resistance of the aggressive opponents and win the Cup for the sixth time in a row.
In the match for the third place Primorac, without larger problems, defeated Budvanska rivijera 19-4.
