Eighteen players to go to France

Belgrade, January 16 - Men's national team coach Branislav Pokrajac named a 18-man squad for the World Championship which is to be held in France from January 23 to February 4. Yugoslav national team coach Branislav Pokrajac will decide on the final 16 players in France.

SQUAD

Goalkeepers: Zoran Djordjic, Arpad Sterbik, Danijel Saric, Nenad Puljezevic.

Wings: Vladan Matic, Petar Kapisoda, Nenad Maksic, Zikica Milosavljevic.

Pivots: Dragan Škrbic, Ratko Nikolic, Ratko Đurkovic.

Backs: Ivan Lapcevic, Mladen Bojinovic, Nedeljko Jovanovic, Branko Kokir, Goran Djukanovic, Nebojša Golic and Blazo Lisicic.

At the World Championship Yugoslavia will compete in the group B together with Argentina, Kuwait, France, Algeria and Brazil.

The best four teams will qualify for the next round.
