The aid still comes
Sremska Raca, November 11 (Tanjug) - The realization of the European Union (EU) program on emergency aid for Serbia, approved by the European Commission on November 8th, started today, with the arrival of the first convoy of 20 tankers with heating and crude oil to our country.

In the presence of the European Commission and the Serbian Government representatives, from Sremska Raca border crossing toward Republika Srpska, the convoy was directed to Nis, Pirot, Sombor, Subotica and Novi Sad.

The Serbian Minister of Energetic Srboljub Antic said that this help showed that a democratic Serbia had friends in Europe.

Expressing his hope that this delivery would be hastened, Antic thanked the EU on their help and added that it would be a precious one to us.

There are 13 tankers with crude oil and 7 tankers with heating oil, total of 460 tones.

Thirteen tankers entered our country at Sremska Raca border crossing and seven at Pavlovic's road.

In the next 23 days, 20 tankers with crude and heating oil would enter daily our country, total of 10 000 tones.
