Monstrous crimes of terrorists over children August 23, 2000
G.Novakovic Ten children, who were injured in a terrorist attack in Crkvene Vodice near Obilic, are, unfortunately, only the last in a long row of victims in Kosmet, where, in spite of numerous UN security forces, ethnic Albanian crimes are regular. Guided by nationality as the only criterion for the choice of their victims, and whishing that all that is Serbian perishes from Kosovo-Metohija, terrorists did not even spare the youngest. The monstrosity of some of the crimes, whose victims were exactly the youngest, is not recorded anywhere in the world. The most horrible crimes, committed so far in the southern Serbian province, are certainly those in which two six-months-old babies were burnt alive last year. This crime left the Yugoslav public speechless. In the middle of August last year, Albanian bandits in the center of Prizren, set fire to a house in which Lela Dimic and her six-months-old baby died, and only because she refused to go to so-called KLA`s "informative talk". A month after that, also in Prizren, four Albanian terrorists snatched six-months-old boy Sava from the hands of his mother Dragana Mladenovic, as a punishment for her not wanting to move to Serbia. They threw the baby into a shed and then set fire to it. Of course those who committed these monstrous crimes, were not found. The criminals, who kidnapped Veselin Takic and his six-years-old granddaughter Ana, in August last year, were not also found. Several days later, KFOR soldiers found the little girl's body massacred. Terrorists cut off the little girl's arm. Besides these horrible crimes, there is a long list of terrorist attacks whose victims, with the adults, were the young ones. In the middle of the last year, a boy and a girl were killed in an ethnic Albanian attack on village Klokot in the zone of American responsibility. Six adults were also injured in this attack. In May this year, in the attack of Albanian terrorist Afrim Zeciri on a group of people from village Cernice near Gnjilane, three Serbs were killed, including the four-years-old boy, Milos Petrovic. Sisters Kristina (4) and Bojana (3) Ristic from Gracanica, were lucky to survive the crash which occurred when a car, with which they and their mother Natasa were going from Batus to Gracanica, went over a land mine placed by the terrorists. Explosive devices were, in a lot of cases, the cause of death or wounding of children. Thus, in April this year in village Resnik, 15 kilometers east of Klina, six children, up to the age of ten, were wounded in an explosion of a hand-made explosive device. Four children were seriously injured. Similar thing happened in October last year, when two children died and the third one was seriously injured in an explosion in a field in village Mala Krusa near Prizren. After that KFOR announced that there were no records of a minefield there, and that there were no left missiles from NATO air raids. The name of a twelve-years-old Turkish girl Izabela Tamniku is also on the long list of children-victims in Kosmet since the arrival of KFOR and UNMIK, who are not obviously capable of preventing crimes over children. Izabela was murdered in the center of Prizren. The attacker, who remained unknown, tried to rape her, and when she started to defend herself, he stabbed a knife in her chest and murdered her. Unfortunately, there are no reliable records about how many children-victims were there in Kosmet, but the above mentioned examples testify that the murderers from the terrorist KLA do not have mercy for anyone, not even the youngest.
However, this cannot be expected from them, especially when we bear in mind that they do not have consideration even for their own children. It happened that little Albanians get hurt, most often in the explosions of planted mines. Many of them got hurt because they were directly involved in terrorist actions. In November last year, Belgium journal "La Belgique" published an article saying that terrorists from KLA are recruiting, by force, boys and girls younger than 18 years and engaging them in performing the most difficult assignments, especially those in which terrorists could not be engaged. According to the Belgium journal, it is the only paramilitary organization in Europe which is recruiting children, thus violating, in the hardest possible manner, the Convention on the rights of children.
According to the Belgium journal, only Kurdish rebels are also engaging children in terrorist actions.
