Organizers of fixed and illegal voting game

Pristina, July 18 (Tanjug) - Office of the civil mission of the UN Security Council in Pristina began recently with aggressive media campaign, in order to make census of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija, whether they are in small ghettoes or they are out of southern Serbian province, in registration centers of UNMIK, at any price and as many as possible, and to draw them in fixed and illegal voting game, which should be organized in October, under the patronage of 9,000 international observers.

This call (recorded in CD disc), organized for west public, hides many traps, dangerous for all remained non-Albanian population in Kosovo and Metohija. Namely, UNMIK is trying to carry out preparations for elections in Kosovo and Metohija. In that way the USA will provide attributes of state, and after that its attachment to the so-called great Albania. It is not hard to suppose what will happen to the people in that kind of creation, if we already know what happened to them and what is happening to them in conditions when Kosovo and Metohija is in the structure of Serbia and FR of Yugoslavia.

According to the well packed massages from the CD (Serbs will, allegedly, have the possibility to travel to the foreign countries with new documents or to find jobs, after the elections), remained compatriots which ethnic Albanians persecuted, humiliated and physically mistreated with the support of KFOR and UNMIK can register even with some old bill for the electricity or fishing license. In that way, bringing back the safety and security of those people and their property is not being mentioned.

Apart from that, creators of that action want to convince Serbs and Montenegrins in Kosovo and Metohija that Belgrade does not have neither influence on their fate, nor opportunities to help and protect them.

Call for elections, without approval and participation of Yugoslav authorities, which has not been written in the annals of the world law, was conveyed in fluent Serbian language and is in short audio form.

In UNMIK organization everything is possible, only Serbs, if they are deceived give that farce illusion of legitimacy and democracy. Although, demographic picture of Kosovo and Metohija has drastically changed.

Because of the illustration, we quotes some facts:

-By June 10th in 1999, 581,480 or 31,41% of non-Albanian population lived in Kosovo and Metohija, and today there are only few presents.

- Contrary to that, in the region of southern Serbian province, only from October last year, more than 160,000 ethnic Albanians moved in, and those who have not lived in Kosovo and Metohija till then.

- Before the arrival of KFOR in Kosovo and Metohija 6,985 refugees from Croatia and Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina lived, and in September in 1999, that number was reduced to 872 refugees.

- Serbs, Montenegrins and other non-Albanian population will not be deceived by that obvious trap. Because they know that, in that way, they will not be, any more, citizens with full civil rights of FR of Yugoslavia.

- Also, citizens of non-Albanian nationality of Kosovo and Metohija will not accept the game that UNMIK is trying to force them, because they will dishonor the memory on victims of ethnic Albanian violence and terror and others who were killed from the bombs of murders who are presenting themselves as modern educators and democrats.

- At the end, aware of the fact that UNMIK's show is one more step of the international community towards Kosovo and Metohija's independence, Serbs will do everything in order to preserve soul and cradle of Serbian religion and in spite of that they will stay and survive in their holy ancestral homes.
