During the second set the USA team had less problems with the destructive attacks, and the strong blocks. The USA team came back strong and were able to hold on till the end of the second set. Coming up the third set the Yugoslav team came back stronger and the rest of the set showed a reciprocal game. Both teams kept on fighting. The set was finally decided by the Yugoslav team. At the beginning of the fourth set it seemed that the Yugoslav team had wings. After the technical time out Yugoslavia was playing very strongly. During the fourth set the Yugoslav team showed that they were the best in blocking, serving and attacks.
