Dragan Pantelic
A goal scored from over 80 meters

In the late seventies and early eighties, Dragan Pantelic was one of the best European goalkeepers. He was remembered, not only for his attractive and brave interventions, but also as an unmistakable scorer from penalties for Radnicki Nis. One season, he was the second best scorer in his team.

On the Championship match in Nis, between the host team Radnicki and Velez from Mostar, Pantelic scored the only goal of the match in unique manner, kicking the ball from his penalty area, which ended in the net of the guest team goal helped by the wind.

The goal, scored from over 80 meters, surprised all the people at the stadium, particularly Enver Maric, the experienced goalkeeper of the Velez team, who had played for the national selection at the 1974 World Cup in Munich and had been a goalkeeper in the German team Schalke 04 for several seasons.
