The water polo players of the Yugoslav champion gained their victory thanks to the firm defense and the eagerness of Aleksandar Sapic who scored 4 goals. From the first moments of the match, Becej kept increasing its lead, so, in the last quarter of the game, it amounted to 7 goals difference - 10-3.
